Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer Grew RBS Group from a Family Business to a Leading Brazilian Media Company

Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, lovingly known as Duda Melzer, is from the Sirostky family and is the grandson of the founder of the RBS Group. Being from one of the most influential families in Brazil, Duda has managed to make a mark by working hard. Duda completed his graduation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and then went on to get his MBA degree from the Harvard University in the US.

Even though Duda Melzer had the option of joining his family business right after he graduated from Harvard, he wanted to gain experience in the industry and learn like any other student. He started his vocational training at Delphi where he became a senior budgetary expert. During this time, he wanted to get experience in the media industry as well and led BoxTop Media as one of the executives. He then returned to his home country and joined his family business. After years working under his uncle, he was appointed as the President of the RBS Group in 2016.

In an article on Dino, one person who has been a constant support for Duda is John Davis. He was one of his professors during his college days in Harvard. John runs a business consultant company, and RBS Group was his first client in Brazil. They have been in agreement since 1999, and their relationship is growing with each passing year. Under the leadership of Duda, the RBS Group aims to maintain its brilliant standards by separating the family element from the administration one. John Davis has guided Duda put this into practice into the workplace, and the results can be seen through its profits.

Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer has been acknowledged with different awards that show his leadership skills. His only aim is to grow the RBS Group and expand to many different areas of operations within the next decade.
